Biography
Nancy Elizabeth Hix Davis was the daughter of Thomas Hix and Melvina Rose Hix .
In 1868, she married John W. Davis. Their ten children were born in Clay County, Tennessee.
After she became a widow (before the 1920 census), Nancy moved to Sumner County to live with her daughter, Mallie Davis Roberts.
The Tennessee Deaths and Burial Index states that Nancy is buried in Spring Hill Cemetery,[1] as are her daughter Mallie and son-in-law Luther Roberts.
