Biography

1874 Ida Paulina Hjort was born 10 Sep 1874 in Husby, Kopparbergs (Dalarna county), Sweden. She was the daughter of Anders Gustaf Andersson and Paulina Söderquist.[1]

1880 Ida lived with her parents and older sister Eugenia in Smedby (Husby parish) Kopparbergs, Sweden. The household comprised:

  • Hjort, Anders Gustaf, b. 1848 in Husby Kopparbergs län, Skomakare (shoemaker) Fjärdingsman (sheriff)
  • Söderqvist, Paulina Henrietta, b. 1844 in Stockholm

1886 After her father died, Ida Paulina was sent to live at indecypherable word - Pay? Fray? 178 on 16 Nov 1886.[2]

1890 When 26 years old and after having been orphaned in 1886 at age 12, Ida was living at Smedby, in the Husby parish, Hedemora deanery, Kopparbergs county, Sweden. She was unmarried and residing with the Sundström family. The household comprised:
