Biography
Erie Hobbs lived in Appalachia, in West Virginia.
Erie was born on 6 December 1898 in Cabell County, West Virginia. He was the son of Elisha Kendrick Hobbs and UNKNOWN Rosa.[1]
When Erie was 19 he married Bertha Donahoo on 1 September 1918 in Wayne County, West Virginia. The couple had 5 children: Delsie Mae Hobbs, Thelma Hobbs, Lillie Hobbs, Elmer Vaughn Hobbs and Emery M. Hobbs.[2]
Erie died at the age of 90 on 16 September 1989 in Polk County, Florida.[1][3]
