Leslie Arthur Hobbs was born on 6 January 1896 and baptised in Cathcart on 30 March 1896. He was the son of Walter Rupert Hobbs and Emma Louisa Webb[1]
He Married Jessie Joyce King (1900 - 1980) in Cathcart on 25 April 1921.[2] The couple had five children:
Vivienne Joy Hobbs (1923 - 2008)
Joslyn Douglas Hobbs (1928 - 2005)[3] - he married Muriel Margaret (LNAB unknown) and had a child Joslyn David Hobbs.
Glen Barry Hobbs (1930 - 2006)
Leslie Dale Hobbs (1922 - 2011)
John Dorien Walter Hobbs[4] (1925 - ) m. Mary Christine Hockley. Child: Leslie Athol Hobbs [5]
