Alfred Archibald Hocking was born in 1883 in Parkes, Colony of New South Wales, son of William H Hocking & Margaret Hocking.[1]

Alfred (36) married Ellen Jean Woodward (21) (born on November 11, 1898 in Parkes; daughter of Sydney Richard Woodward and Mary Ann Salina Jarvis) on May 15, 1920 in St Leonards, New South Wales. [2]

Alfred died in 1943 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, aged 59.[3]
