Biography

Rudolph is the son of Jacob Hagmann. [1] Rudolph Hockman purchased lot # 71 and a five acre outlot in the new town of Strasburg, Virginia, March 1, 1763.[2] He sold this lot to his brother-in-law, Baltzer Hoover in August, 1765. [3] Rudolph died in the spring of 1768 and his widow, Margaret, qualified as his administrator, on May 7, 1768. [4] Benjamin Hockman became guardian of his three daughters in 1772, with Henry Funk co-signing the bonds.[5] In April 1783, his three daughters sold the remaining outlot in Strasburg to Abraham Hockman.[6]

Hockman-191 and Hockman-42 appear to represent the same person because: They are the same person but entered by different people at different times.
