In 1841 Eliza Hockney (age 3) lived at Carlton in Pontefract, Yorkshire with her father John (25-29), mother Elizabeth (20-24), sister Sarah (1), and grandmother Elizabeth Penny (50-54).[3]
In 1851 Eliza Hockney (age 13, Scholar) lived in Appleton Roebuck, Yorkshire with her father John (37, Groom), mother Elizabeth (37), and five siblings: Sarah A (11, Scholar), Samuel (9, Scholar), John (7, Scholar), Margaret (5, Scholar), and Robert (2).[4]
