Mr. E. G. Hodges
Sanford - Services were held at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Erickson Funeral Home, for Mr. Elbert G. Hodges, 67, who died Saturday night at the family home on East Geneva Avenue. Interment was in Lake View Cemetery, the Rev. W. P. Buhrman officiating.
Mr. Hodges was born in St. George, Ga., and came to Sanford in 1906. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ellen Hodges, three daughters, Mrs. Eva Smith, Mrs. Vida Rosier, Mrs. Nettie English, all of Sanford; five sons, Morris G., Cleo W., William T., all of Detroit, Mich.; Clyde E. and Paul T., both of Toledo, O., and three sisters, Mrs. C. M. Owens, Mrs. L.J. McGlonn, and Mrs. J.L. Owens, all of Jacksonville; three brothers, W.W., Callahan, H.L., Callahan, and S. S.A., Callahan.
