Biography
Ida Belle Hogan was born in Homer, Winona, Minnesota. She married Mathew W. Emerson Jul 17, 1898 in Town of Buffalo, Buffalo County, Wisconsin. She had twin sons, Roy J. and Ray G., about 1900. She divorced Mathew, March 14, 1924. She later married Gus Lundberg. Ida died in 1957 with burial at Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, at Greenwood Cemetery.

Ida Belle "Mam" had a grocery store in Wisconsin. The family story goes that she was very thrifty and controlled the family finances when she was married to Gus. The story goes that after Ida died, Gus went and bought himself a new bathrobe, probably because she thought he didn't need one.
