Biography
William was born in Floyd County, Kentucky on September 11, 1825. [1] He moved with his family to western Missouri and then to the Mercer Colony in Navarro County, Texas. [2] William married Paulina Shults in Navarro County in 1848. They lived in several locations in Texas and Oklahoma. William died on December 28, 1904, and is buried in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery in McClain County, Oklahoma. [3]
