Biography

Eleazer Holbrook was born at Medfield, Massachusetts Bay, in December of 1660, a son of Thomas Holbrook and Hannah (Shepard) Holbrook. He married Sarah Pond of Dedham, at Dedham, on the fourteenth of June, 1698.

A selectman at Sherborn for several terms, he also served at several times in the legislature; in his final term there, he "arrived three months late for the 1720 July HR and was excused for the offense."[1]

Eleazer passed away at Sherborn in mid-February of 1726. Sarah (Pond) Holbrook survived him, and was remarried to Capt. John Whiting of Wrentham in January of 1729.
