Mourning (aka Malinda) was born on 30 January 1883[1] in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. She married John E. Miller in 1900.[1] They had the following children: Lillian,[2][3] Homer,[2][3] Hinkle[2], Inez[2][3][4] and Clara[2][3] Miller. Mourning died at the age of 51 on 25 April 1934 in Livingston, Louisiana.[5] She is buried in Red Oak Cemetery,[6] Livingston Parish, Louisiana, United States of America.
