Died on 7th March 1935 at M.T. Benson's farm "Tortoni", district Maclear.
Children of first marriage Margaret Benson, Elizabeth Haarhoof, Winifred Laurie married daughters, Francis Holder major son.
Children of second marriage Helen Viviers married daughter, Walter Joseph Holder major son.
Dated at Maclear the 15th or March 1935, M.T. Benson, son-in-law. Present at death.

From the rest of the probate papers it is clear that Margaret, Elizabeth and Alwena Stephena ("Winifred" clearly being a wrong guess as to what "Winnie" stands for) are respectively married to Marmaduke Thomas Benson, Nicolaas Haarhoff and Robert Naylor Laurie. One of the documents is signed by R. Laurie and A.S. Laurie, and witnessed by L.J. Laurie and L. Laurie (the latter two are probably Robert's daughter Louisa Joyce Laurie and his brother Louis E.G. Laurie). In another, Elizabeth is referred to as "Elizabeth Cartarina"
