Ollie Mae Holder was born on 12 December 1914 in Parkton, Rockfish Township, Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of Joseph B. Holder (1884 - 1967) and Cattie Lou (Davis) Holder (1892 - 1974).[1][2]
Ollie Holder, who was 5 years old was enumerated in the household of her father, Joe B. Holder, on the 1920 United States Census. She and her family were living in Rockfish Township, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[3]
Ollie was 15 years old when the 1930 United States Census was taken. She was living in the household of her parents. Their home was still in Rockfish Township.[4]
Ollie Mae Holder and Andres Vega Patawaran were married on 19 September 1936 in Bennettsville, Marlboro County, North Carolina.[5][6] They were the parents of at least two children. One of their children is likely still living. The other, Andres Vega Patawaran Jr., died in 2007.[7]
When the 1940 United States Census was taken, Ollie Mae, her husband Andres, and their young child were living in the household of Philip Huntington in Montgomery County, Maryland. Ollie Mae was working as a cook for the Huntingtons. Andres was working as the Huntington's houseman. Colonel Philip W. Huntington, among other things, served as Commandant of the Army Medical School and Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. about this time period.[8]
Ollie and Andres were living in Hope Mills, Cumberland County, North Carolina when the 1950 United States Census was taken. They were the parents of two children at that time.[9]
Ollie Mae (Holder) Patawaran died on 16 July 1975 in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina at the age of 60 as a result of diabetic acidosis. She was buried in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[2][10]
