Anne Hollabaugh was born before 1820 in Perry County, Tennessee, United States, daughter of George C. Hollabaugh (~1792–~1824) and Catherine Fraley (1795–1856).
Anne married Abram Harwell Ledbetter in 1842 in Perry County, Tennessee. Their children were:
Anne's age is uncertain. After marriage estimates vary with birth year of ca. 1821-1823.
Her son Coleman's death certificate identifies her as a Hollabaugh. She appears to have lived her entire life in the Perry and Wayne County, Tennessee area with Coleman also dying in Perry County. George and Catherine Fraley moved into this same area around 1818 where they also died. Earlier census have given us a head count for children we didn't have all the names for. It seems likely she is one of their children though those censuses would maker her a little older. Since she didn't marry until ca. 1842, she is probably the young 20-30 y.o. female living with Catherine with an est. birth year of 1815-1820. Perhaps since she married a younger man, her age was being fudged just a bit in later years. But it would appear that she is the daughter of George and Catherine though so far we don't have a document that explicitly states that. I believe George only had one brother to pass the surname and he finished his life in North Carolina.
