I have a difficulty with the birth date of one of the children of William Hipkins and Sarah Holland - Esther Hipkins. At her marriage in 1835, she is described as age 21, with an estimated birth year of 1815, however the 1851 census states she was born 1803 and the 1861 census 1801. I have settled on 1803.
I agree the two are the same person because of the marriage to William Hipkins. The marriage occurred on 31 Dec 1798 at St Martins Church, Birmingham. I have Sarah b. 1773. At her marriage she is described as "of St Martin, Birmingham". On her death in September 1835, she is described as "of Rounds Hill". She was buried 2 Oct 1835 at All Saints, Sedgley. Her will was proved at Lichfield 6 Jan 1836, where she is described as "a widow, of Sedgley.
