Biography

Benjamin John Homer was born on 1 February 1853 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States, son of Russell King Homer (1815–1890) and Eliza Williamson (1817–1912).

In the 1860 census John (age 7) was at 2nd Ward Great Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory, United States. [1]

In 1870, Benjamin was living in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory. [2]

Benjamin (20) married Mary Adelia Petty (22) (born on 14 September 1851 in Little Cottonwood, Salt Lake, Utah; daughter of Robert Cowan Petty and Mary Adelia (Carbine) Taylor) on 25 December 1873. Their son was Russell King Homer (1882–1959).

In 1880, married, Farmer, head of household in Trenton, Cache, Utah Territory, United States. [3]

Benjamin died on 10 May 1894 in Trenton, Cache, aged 41.[4]
