Biography
Arthur Honywood was the twelfth child and third son born to Robert Honywood and his wife Mary Atwater. He was baptised 19 February 1563. [1]
Arthur Honywood styled himself "of Lenham, Kent", although he later resided at Maidstone, where he was buried. On 11 August 1695, he married Elizabeth, daughter of John Spencer of Chart Sutton, Kent, [2] and the marriage had a numerous issue: 4 sons and 7 daughters.[3]
