Biography

Rosa Ann Hood was born on March 4, 1887 in Roane County, Tennessee to Miles Samuel Hood and Nancy Catherine "Katie" Wilson.

Rosa married Alsey V Cape on July 11, 1901 in Bosque County, Texas. End of marriage issue is unknown.

Rosa married a second time to Robert Carson Hudson on August 21, 1903 in Ellis County, Texas. Rosa and Robert had nine children. Ruth, Robert, Whitt, Mattie, Vera, Ruby, Loyd, Harding and Cecil. The Hudson family lived in Hill and Summerville Counties of Texas before finally settling in Hood County, Texas.

Rosa passed away on February 4, 1968 at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Cleburne. Her husband Robert preceded her in death in 1952. They are both resting peacefully at the Granbury Cemetery in Hood County, Texas.
