Biography

John Leonard Hoon was born in Indiana, United States on 11 Aug 1909 to Alva Hoon and Florence Toohey.^[1]

They lived in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.^[2][3]

Leonard married Beatrice Simmons in 1926.^[4]

Their family resided in Indiana.^[5][6]

Leonard and Beatrice divorced in 1948, but remarried at Boone, Indiana in Mar 1950.^[1] Beatrice passed away in 1976. Leonard later remarried.

He passed away in Indiana on 24 Oct 1984.^[7] Leonard was survived by his wife, one daughter and one son, as well as three stepsons.^[4]

A headstone for Leonard and Beatrice is located at the Dayton Cemetery in Dayton, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.^[8]
