Biography

Charles Hooton was born to an unmarried Margaret Hooton in 1847.^[1]

In 1851, he was listed on the census as a grandson of James Hooton and Jenny (Sutton) Hooton.^[2] In 1861, he was living in the household of grandmother Jenny (Sutton) Hooton.^[3]
