Biography

Frances was born about 1918. She was the youngest daughter of Will Horner and Ethel Mudge. ^[1] She was a "treasured treasure" after the couple lost 2 year old Ivy in early 1918.

She lived in the family home in St Leonards until her mother passed away and then lived in a bedsit at her sister (Hazel) and brother-in-law's home in Chatswood, NSW.

She worked as a Sales Assistant in the David Jones glove department, and is remembered by family as "a great beauty of mercurial temperament".^[2]

Frances suffered a great deal of illness over her lifetime, and spent considerable time in her later years in North Shore hospital. Married on April 3 1965 to (a jockey?) Harold James Davidson - who she met in hospital in early 1965, where they were both fairly long-term patients.^[3][4]

Frances died on Christmas eve 1965, and was buried in the Macquarie Park Cemetery ^[5][6]
