Biography

Donald Selwyn Hoskin was born on 23 July 1908 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. His parents were George Lewis Hoskin and Julia (Hole) Hoskin^[1].

He married Elizabeth Harriet Josephine James on 14 July 1932 in Canterbury, New Zealand^[2].

His father George died in 1947.

Donald and his family were living at 25 Greenwood Street, Motueka, when his mother Julia died in early 1960^[3].

Donald died on 4 May 1981 in New Zealand aged ~72 and was cremated on 6 May 1981^[4].
