William paid the passage to Virginia for his wife, Joan, and their three children (William Jr, Grace, and Elizabeth) arriving on 1621 on the ship Abigail.
Joane Hampton was listed as age 25 arriving on the Abigail in 1621 and living in Elzabeth Cittie in the 1624/1625 Muster.[1][3]
