Biography

The early years

Della Mary Hovis was born in Garnet, Kansas on the 25th of November 1922. She was the daughter of Charles Hovis and Sarah Hargiss[1]. The siblings would be:

Family Life

She married Malcum Wayne Williams on the 16th of June 1942 in Jackson, Missouri[7]

Only[8] the immediate families were present Tuesday evening, June 16, for the marriage of Miss Della Hovis, daughter of Mrs. Myrtle Hovis of Independence and Mrs. Malcolm W. Williams, son of Mrs. Margaret Jaques of Independence. The creemony was held at the home of the bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Throtyear.


She would later marry Ray Warman on the 3rd of April, 1949 in Jackson County, Missouri[9] and they would have:

Death

She died on the 27th of Sep of 1978[1] in Independence, Jackson county, Missouri and she would be buried in the floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri[10]

MRS. DELLA M. WARMAN[11]

Mrs. Della M. Warman, 55, of 2806 S. Crysler, Independence, died Wednesday at the home. She was born in Garnett, Kan., and had lived in this area most of her life. She was an electronics assembler for the Bendix Corp. 2 years and had operated Town and Country Fabrics at her home. Mrs. Warman was a member of the Indepence First Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, Howard R. Warman of the home; two sons, Living Warman, Blue Springs, and Living. Warman of he home; a daughter, Mrs. Living Sugar Creek; a sister, Mrs. Eula B. Thomas, Independence and six grandchidlren. Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at the Speaks Chapel; burial in floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 pm Friday at the Chapel.
