Marriage
John Howard married Elizabeth Garthone on 28 Mar 1654.[2] The Howden Registers record - A Contract to Marry by Act of Parliament for 'John Howard of Holden and Elizabeth Garthorne of the same married by Charles Fenwicke Esq. (according to an Act of Parliament.) in the presence of John Garthorne, Richard Chapman and James Wright of Holden. signed Charles Fenwicke.[3]
