Research Notes
Mary Howe clearly married Stephen Royce in May 1753. The source cites 3 or 8 May, apparently referring to uncertainty in transcribing the original record. References to a marriage of Stephen Royce to a Mary Owen in 1777 is either a second wife, or a different Stephen Royce. The death date of 1803 is probably for the second Mary.
