Mary was born in 1819. She was the daughter of William Howes. She passed away in 1892. When Mary Ann Howes was born on January 16, 1819, in Sunderland, Durham, England, her father, William, was 23, and her mother, Ann, was 19. She married Joseph Agar in July 1842. They had four children in 12 years.
She died in July 1892 in Yorkshire, England, at the age of 73.
