Biography

Edith Howsam was born to Joseph & Julia A, Howsam on the 30th March 1897 in Spilsby in Lincolnshire and in 1901 she is living with her parents and younger brother at 55 St Leonards Street, in Stamford. Lincolnshire. By 1911 the famly had moved to Uffington Fen, near Market Deeping where she was theen aged 14 and the oldest of five children. She would havebeen aged 17 when she married Joseph Wrigley Cocker during the second quarter of 1917 in Peterborough, Northamptonshire and in 1939 they were living together at 11, The Crescent, Peterborough, Old Fletton in Hunttingdonshire with six children although the details of two have been officially removed. She died durig the second quarter of 1983 in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.
