Biography
Narelzy A. Howton was born about 1860 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.[1][2] She was the daughter of William Howton and Margaret A. (Harris) Howton.
In the 1870 U.S. Census, Narelzy Howton, age 9, was enumerated living in Fisher Spring, Hopkins, Kentucky, with father William Howton (38), step mother Abby Howton (22) and brother James Howton (4).[1]
Seventeen year old N.A. Howton married sixteen year old Reason T. McGregor on 20 December 1877 at her father William Howton's house in Caldwell County, Kentucky, in the presence of Reason's father Dyson McGregor and Cornelius Harris, her uncle. [2][3]
