Mehitable Hoyt was born on 25 November 1705 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Hoyt and Dorothy Worthen.1,2,3 Mehitable Hoyt and Jeremiah Flanders filed marriage intentions on 17 September 1726 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.2,4 On 29 December 1726 Mehitable, at age 21, married Jeremiah Flanders, at age 40, son of Steven Flanders and Abigail Carter, in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2,3,5 Mehitable Hoyt and Jeremiah Flanders were dismissed to the church in South Hampton on 7 January 1728 from the Second Church in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.2 Mehitable Hoyt and Jeremiah Flanders lived after 1741 in South Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.6 On 13 October 1767 Mehitable, at age 61, married Capt.
