Biography

Rosina was born in 1853. She was the daughter of Unnamed Father Huber. She passed away in 1924.

Baptismal Certificate

In the year of our Lord 1853, on the 6th day of January, with the help and assistance ofthe midwife, Stkaz von Au, was born and on the 7th of the same month with the sponsor of the farmer woman, Rosina Waldinger of Leer bach, and baptized in the local church by Rev. Anton Hell, parochial administrator according to the catholic rite.

The respected Thomas Huber, half farmer in Harlach and his legitmate wife, Magdalena nee Hunglinger, of Opelshausen, legitimately born daughter.

This a certified according to the book of registration, Catholic Paster in Osterwaal. The 8th of Jan. 1873 Muller - Pastor.

This is a translation of the Baptism record of Rosina Huber which she must have gotten when she was 20 years old Rosina married Wolfgang George Bergbower on April 17, 1877.

Mrs. W. G. Bergbower

Mrs. W .. Bergbower died last night at the family residence, 302 W. Jourdan St., Newton after suffering from ill health for four years and from an illness of pneumonia immediately preceding death.

Deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Rosa Huber, was born in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, January 6, 1853; came to this country as a child with her parents, and as a young women was married to W.G. Bergbower.

To them were born seven children, six of whom survive--George, Frank, Theodore (Ted), Mrs. Frank (Mary) Kraus of the Bend, Miss Sophia of Chicago and Miss Minnie at home.

There are also surviving her aged husband, Mr. Bergbower; twenty one grand-children, a brother and a sister, Thomas Huber of Ste. Marie and Mrs. Minnie Mack of Philadelphia, and other relatives.

Mrs. Bergbower was a most gracious, christian woman, devoted to the welfare of her family, the home surroundings and the church of her religious faith.
