Biography

When Jane Huff was born on June 11, 1850, in Ontario, Canada, her father, Daniel Wright Huff, was 24, and her mother, Mary Wells Gifford was 22. She married Duncan VanAllen on March 14, 1871, in Ontario, Canada^[1]. She had five children by the time she was 29. The couple emigrated to Georgetown, Ottawa, Michigan in 1877.
