Biography

George Franklin "Frank" Huff was born 16 August 1863 in Center Twp. (Danville) Hendricks Co., Indiana. He was the son of William Huff and Martha Tout.

22 June 1870--The Huff family resided in Center Twp. William Huff-38, a farmer, b. Ohio; Martha -39, b. Kentucky and all children b. in Indiana: Thomas J-14; Elijah E. -12; Andrew W-9; George F.-7; William E Huff-4 and John W, aged 1.

The Huff family moved from Danville, Hendricks Co. Indiana to Illinois in 1879.

9 &10 June 1880--The Huff family lived in Neoga, Cumberland Co., Illinois. William was a farmer with help from his five sons. In the home: Martha-49; Andrew-18; George F-16; William E-14; John M-11; Anna F -9; Mary A -4 and Elijah E , aged 22.

19 June 1900--Frank Huff, a single farm laborer, b. in AUG in Indiana, lived with his widowed mother, Martha in Spring Point Township, Cumberland Co., Illinois.

According to burial info for both, George Franklin Huff and Nora Elsie Cottingham were married 22 December 1904.

1910--

05 May 1917, Frank and Elsie's son, Guy Franklin Huff. passed away at the age of 5.

1920--

He passed away 28 Jan 1925, at the age of 61, in Kaskaskia Township, Fayette Co., Illinois. Note: He has two FAG Memorial numbers: #92001631 and #5090360 BURIAL Farmers Cemetery Shobonier, Fayette County, Illinois
