Estil “Sam” B. Huff, age 88, of Willoughby, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022. He was born in Rose Hill, VA, on July 30, 1933, to the late Permillis “Millus” and Lucy Huff (nee Saylor). He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Sam proudly served in the US Army during Korea 1953-55. He retired from Eaton Corporation in 1985 as a Tool & Die Maker after many dedicated years. Alongside his wife, Sam, made Willoughby their home for over 60 years. Sam was an avid golfer with 4 holes in one. Sam loved his grandchildren and truly enjoyed spending his free time with them and playing a big role in taking care of them.... He was preceded in death by his siblings Virgil Huff and Esther Fee. Donations in honor of Sam can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 10am till 11:30am at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30am also at the Funeral Home. Sam will be laid to rest privately.

Estil lived in Willoughby, Ohio but passed at a hospital in Cleveland. Throughout his life he went by the nickname Bee and later, because he was such an avid golfer, his friends began to call him Sam - after a famous golfer of that time. For some time following the death of his father, Permilles, Bee's mother, Lucy, lived with Bee and Hattie.[2]
