Biography

Alfred C Hughes was born 2 August 1896 in Guilford Co.,North Carolina.[1]

He enlisted in World War I in May 1918 in Columbus, Ohio. He was honorably discharged in January 1919.[4]

He registered for World War II in Middletown, Ohio in 1942.[8]

He died 25 November 1972.[9] He is buried in Glendale Cemetery in Washington, Illinois.[10]
