Marie Louise Hulin, daughter of Quebecois trader Pierre Hulin and his Native American wife, Dorothee Accica, was born in French New Orleans between 1725 and about 1730-- this estimate predicated on the date and terms of the marriage contract below.

She married Jean Baptiste Desgagné on January 12, 1745 in Kaskaskia, pays d'Illinois, after publication of one ban:

Marriage contract between Jean Baptiste Deganie, of Kaskaskia, son of Jacques Deganie and of Marguerite Jousset, present and stipulating for their minor son; and Marie Louise Hulin, daughter of the late Pierre Hulin and of Dorothée, now wife of Antoine Chenau, present and with the assistance of her administrator Jacques Michel Dufrene, stipulating for her minor daughter. The groom is accompanied by his brother Antoine Deganie, and by his paternal cousin Antoine Peltier. Executed at Kaskaskia. Antoine Giard; Pierre Dirousse dit St. Pierre; Antoine Dorval; Jean Francois Guiel; Daniel Legras; Barrois. (2pp. Priv. IV, 41)[1][2]
