She married Jeremiah Hopkinson of Rowley, Massachusetts on June 9, 1705 at Concord. [2][3] jeremiah was born on Dec. 23, 1678, son of John and Elizabeth (Pearson) Hopkinson at Cocnord. [4]
Her father Nehemiah died intestate on March 6, 1717, and it took many years for the division of his estate, which was finally settled after her death. Her husband Jeremiah was served and appeared in court at the final settlement. [5]
1726: June 27: Benjamin Snow submitted testimony that in his presence, the court citation was read to Jeremiah Hopkinson at the home of John Hunt. p. 13 [5]
1726: July 4: The court reviewed the family petitions regarding the lands of Nehemiah Hunt that son John Hunt refused to take in a disagreement over the appraisal. Named in the settlement: Jeremiah Hopkinson, husband to Elizabeth now deceased. p. 19[5]
After her death, Jeremiah married widow Margaret (Tenney) Barker as his second wife. [3][4]
He died at Rowley at the age of 89 on Sept. 12, 1768. [3][4]
In his will written May 8, 1761, proved on Oct. 24, 1768, he mentions:
wife Marth (3rd wife)
daughters Hannah Whitaker, Elizabeth Main, Mary Lamson, Rebecca Davis and Mercy Hopkinson. [4]
