Biography

Miriam was born in 1879[1] in Newport, Yorkshire, England. In 1881 she lived with her parents, William and Dorothy, at Turner's Cottages in Wallingfen, Yorkshire.[2] The family had moved to Eastrington, Yorkshire, by 1891,[3] and to Wallingfen by 1901, when Miriam was a board teacher.[4]
She married Alfred Storey in Newport in 1904[5][6] and in 1911 the family lived in Eastrington, Yorkshire.[7]
