Biography
Mrs. Johnson was born October 6, 1911 in ELmer, Oklahoma. She grew up in Hess, Oklahoma. She lived in Oklahoma City and moved to Mayfield, Hale County, Texas in 1951 from Wolfforth, Lubbock, Texas. She moved to Plainview, in 1958. Mrs. Johnson was a licensed vocational nurse. She was employed by West Texas Home Health Service and had worked at Plainview Convalescent Home. Mrs Johnson was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband W.H. Johnson; two daughters, Mrs. Neilan Smith of Halfway and Mrs Boyd Mears of Lubbock; two sons, Billy W. Johnson of Hobbs, NM and Steve Johnson of Carlsbad, NM; one brother Curtis W. Hunter of Altus, OK; a sister, Mrs. M.D. McLaurin of Plainview; and eight grandchildren
