Biography

Church of Ireland Clergy

He was the son of Richard Huson of County Somerset, Wngland.

He received a B.A. in 1705 from Trinity College Dublin, on the recommendation of the Primate of Ireland. [1]

He was Domestic Chaplain and Secretary to Archbishop Narcissus Marsh, Primate of Ireland.

In the 1709 will of Archbishop Marsh he was bequeathed books and there were also bequests to Benjamin's three children. It is possible that he was related to Archbishop Marsh. [2]

He was Rector Dundalk, Baronstown, Faughart, Dunbin and Heynestown, from June to October 1709 and collated to the ancient prebend of Dunbyn (Armagh) on 11 June 1709, but resigned the prebend in 1710.

He was collated Precentor of Armagh on 17 September 1709 (FF.) and he was also Rector Kilslevy 1709-1720.

He was also Rector, Vicar of Dromiskin, County Louth.

Benjamin married Elizabeth Aldornes De Ronsele in 1705. [3]
