- In the name of God, Amen--
- I, Pleasant Bradford of the Township of Downe, County of Cumberland, and State of New Jersey, being of sound and disposing(?) mind, memory and understanding, for which blessing, I thank God, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say--
- First - I order and direct my executors hereinafter named to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as may be after my decease -
- Second - I give & bequeath to my sons, Lewis, Robert F. & Fayette N. all my property of every kind and description, bonds & mortgages, leases, &c.
- Third. I hereby appoint Lewis Bradford & Fayette N. Bradford my sons, executors of this my last will and testament. Witness my hand and seal this first day of May one thousand eight hundred & ninety one.
- Signed, sealed published and declared by the said Pleasant Bradford to be her last will in the presence of us who were present at the same time & subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testatrix & of each other.
