In the 1860 United States census Clement (age 38), Draper, was in Hillsdale, Hillsdale, Michigan.[3]
Clement died on 9 August 1862 of disease in the civil war in Rienzi, Alcorn, Mississippi, United States.[4] His estate passed probate on 22 March 1867 in Principal Registry.[5] Clement was buried on 11 August 1862 in Corinth National Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi.[6]
