Biography
Emrys Wright Irwin, son of William Irwin and Ann Dixon, was born on October 16, 1867 in Unionville in Markham Township, Ontario, Canada.[1][2]
As of the date of the 1871 Census, he was living with his parents, his younger sister Bertha Theressa, and John Hickman, a farm labourer, in Markham Township.[1] His father, William, was a farmer.[1]
Emrys married Rosella Jane Abernethy in Duluth, Minnesota, United States on December 26, 1907.[2][3] They had a son, William Thomas Irwin, in 1908 in the Nashville area of Vaughan Township, Ontario, Canada.[2][3] Emrys was a farmer and they were living at Lot 27, Concession 10 in Vaughan Township at the time.[3]
Emrys died on February 20, 1950 at the age of 82, and was buried with family in Nashville Cemetery in Kleinburg, Ontario.[2]
