Biography

Tyre was the son of Cyrus and Samira (Bicknell) Isaacs of Estill County, Kentucky. He was born in Estill County in 1873. Tyre married Mary Elizabeth Skinner on October 16, 1895, in the bride's home in Estill County. Their children were Samira, Stanley, Laura, Evelina, Hattie, Lilly, and Lessie. Like his father, Tyre was a farmer. He died in 1954 and is buried in Kindred Cemetery, Estill County.
