When Alfred gets married on 24 December 1888 to Mary J Tumeling he was 27 years old and gave his parents as John Jacka & Mary Look.[2]
He is mentioned in his brother's obituary in 1914[3]
David Jacka, aged 67, died Sunday morning, at his residence, 175 Cooper street. He was born in Cornwall, England, Sept 3, and had been a resident of Jackson for about forty six years. He is survived by a widow, a son, Edwin, a daughter, Mrs. D. W. Warner, both of Jackson; four brothers, Alfred, of Leoni, Edwin, of Crystal Falls, Mich., Jacob, Negaunee, Mitch., and John, of French Gulf, Calif.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Cooper street M. E. church. Interment at Woodlawn cemetery.
Alfred died on 5 March 1940 and was buried 8 March in the Woodland Cemetery, Jackson County, Michigan, USA.[4][5]
