On 12 February 1965, he died, in Mercy-Douglass Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of an acute occlusion of anterior descending branch of left coronary, coronary arteriosclerosis; he also had a healed antero-septal myocardial infarction.

On 16 February, he was buried, in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

JOHN W. JACKSON, a retired building contractor, died Friday in Mercy-Douglass Hospital. He was 74 and lived in Chester Springs. Mr. Jackson, who retired from the Lansdowne firm bearing his name in 1957, was a member of the First Philadelphia Adventist Church of Havertown. He is survived by four sons, Wilbur Lewis, Lonnie M., Dr. Paul W. and Albert C.; three daughters, Mrs. Samuel Tuttle, Mrs. George Mitchell and Mrs. Lee Bobes; thirty grandchildren; one great-grandchild, a brother and a sister.'
