Thomas Jackson was an early pioneer in the Indiana Territory.
Thomas was born about 1780.
He moved to Tennessee about 1807.
He was in the battle of Horseshoe Bend on 27 March 1814 in the Mississippi Territory, now central Alabama, which defeated the Red Sticks, a part of the Creek Indian tribe who opposed American expansion, effectively ending the Creek War.[1]
