James Elton Jackson was born on 2 Aug 1914 in Lawrence County, Alabama.[1] He was the son of Robert Jackson and Mattie Davis.
In 1938, James married Sadie Mae Alexander.[2] James had at least two daughters.[3]
James served in the US Navy in World War II as a Seaman 1st Class.[3][4]
James died on 13 Jan 1985 at the VA Hospital in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.[5][3] He was buried in the Dayton National Cemetery.[4]
