William was born in 1769. He married Martha Sleyman in June 9, 1803 in Pelynt. He was a blacksmith, the same as his father. The witnesses at the wedding were William Jago and John Vague. In one record Martha is listed as having been married before.
They have at least 2 children born in Pelynt. Ann born in June 1804 and William born Jan. 1807.
